LG Expo gets a ROM update
Posted on July 8th, 2010 by mphonenews.com in HTC, LG, News, Windows Mobile

The LG Expo is a pretty nice device, with its 1 Ghz processor and pico-projector attachment. LG is doing its part to keep it working well, with a new ROM update that brings along some bug fixes.
The update, which brings the ROM version up to v10G, does not bring any radical changes, but does fix:
- Read/Receipt message delivery
- Backup PIN usage when using the fingerprint scanner to secure the device
- Removed MMS app; replaced with stock Windows Mobile version
- Better signal strength
- Fingerprint scanner works better
The update can be downloaded at LG here.

My LG Expo is ready to ship this afternoon. I feel like a latecomer to the smartphone/Expo scene, however I’m excited to learn what could be performed with it. At this level, I do not know what I don’t know, so I’ll be spending a lot of time exploring the device and the boards. Thanks to all who contribute and help noobs like me!
