HTC HD2 clone has Windows Mobile 6.5.3 update

We have recently seen some annoyance in our comments that HTC, who has released the HTC HD Mini with Windows Mobile 6.5.3, has not released a similar ROM update for the HTC HD2.

It seems iHTC has no such problem, releasing their HD-2 with Microsoft’s latest public version of Windows Mobile. The HD2 clone is powered by Huawei’s Hisilicon K3 chipset, comes with a 3.6″ WVGA display, a 533MHz processor, 256MB RAM, 256MB ROM, and a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus for only  $232!

Who knows, maybe it will even get the Windows Phone 7 upgrade … ;)
