Better signal strength

Fingerprint scanner works better

The update can be downloaded at LG here.

A short while ago you may recall we covered the news that the LG Cookie had reached the impressive milestone of over 5 million units sold worldwide. And in just 5 short months, the hugely popular budget touchscreen phone has doubled that figure amassing 10 million sales worldwide. Having launched just over 13 months ago, the Cookie has barely slowed down since it first hit shelves . The phone has sold over one million units per month this year and demand is expected to grow further in the run up to Christmas.

Speaking about the Cookie’s phenomenal success, Dr. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company commented “We are pleased that the LG Cookie was able to reach the benchmark of 10-million shipments in a short period of time. The sales record adds credence to our philosophy of studying consumer demands and offering a full touchphone that balances premium features with sleek design. LG will continue to shape the future by delivering products and technologies to satisfy the tastes and expectations of our consumers.”
